Types of Players
There are really only two types of lasertag players: the club or "elite" player, and the casual player.
Club players are usually identified by their unique playing styles, knowledge of the mazes, and ability to rack up large numbers of points. Furthermore, club members are players that have formed a tight knit group, play regularly (usually weekly or bimonthly), and generally have had opportunities to develop a squad strategy.
On the other hand, casual players are people who sometimes play with club members, or are just people who pick up a set of commercial gear and seldom play. It is common for groups of casual players who all try the activity for the first time together to continue play, and, over time, develop strategies, thus taking the first steps towards club play.
