Rink vs Inline Hockey

Rink Hockey and Inline Hockey have different rules and equipment, and they involve different types of skating.

The increased manoeuvrability of quad roller skates makes Hardball Roller Hockey a game filled with fancy footwork, tight manoeuvring, and is more similar to football or basketball.

Inline Roller Hockey also includes fancy footwork, but is similar to ice hockey in that it includes a lot of fast racing back and forth action, and employs checking.

Both inline hockey and rink hockey are exciting games to watch and both are governed Internationally, Nationally, and locally as Roller Hockey.
